VERNON, NY – $5 does it.
This Friday, May 31, Utica-Rome Speedway returns to action with $5 Friday presented by Upstate Spray Foam Insulation and Applied Coatings. A complete program of live and local stock car racing is set for the Home of Heroes with grandstand admission just five bucks.
3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds headlined the program on the half-mile oval, joined by the Taylor’s Trailers Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders. Slingshots return to the inner oval with both the Allstars and Juniors in competition.
Prior to the start of racing, Four Cylinder and Slingshot teams will take part in a Meet & Greet in the grandstand midway area.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $5. Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 Children ages 5 and under.
The action at Utica-Rome this week begins on Wednesday (May 29) with Small Car Wednesday featuring Slingshots, Winged Champ Karts, Heavy Tire Predators and Clones. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with practice at 6 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m. All admission is $20 through the pit gate. Concessions will be available.
