Williamson, N.Y. – (May 19, 2025) – Race of Champions management is set to officially launch the 70th annual season at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY on Friday, May 23, with one of the most anticipated events on the calendar—the 35th Annual Tribute to Tommy Druar and Tony Jankowiak 110, featuring the Race of Champions Modified Series.

The historic event will headline an action-packed card that also includes the Race of Champions Super Stock Series, Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series, and the Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six and Four Cylinder divisions.

“It’s always exciting to get our home track opened,” stated Chris Finnocchario, Race of Champions Modified Series competitor from Macedon, N.Y. “We’ve been going to Spencer for many years, and recently, the track has had a real revival in the community and with the racers.

It’s a great place to be on a Friday night, and we can’t wait to get there and get racing.”

Qualifying is set to begin at 7:15 PM on Friday.

In addition to the on-track action, fans can enjoy the return of the “Food Truck Frenzy”, which will feature a variety of local food trucks and unique offerings from around the region.
