Bedford Speedway’s Billy Winn Classic Moved To July 11

The $15,000-to-win Thursday night event will kick off a three-day weekend of racing with a doubleheader at Sharon Speedway following the Billy Winn Classic

BEDFORD, PA (June 11, 2024) – The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models have found a new date for the Billy Winn Classic at Pennsylvania’s Bedford Speedway – now set for Thursday, July 11.

Originally scheduled for May before weather hindered those plans, the $15,000-to-win, 45-lap, event will now serve as an introduction to the three-day northeastern weekend that includes the Series’ two-day stop in Ohio at Sharon Speedway, Friday-Saturday, July 12-13.

It’ll be the Series’ fourth visit to the track and first time back since 2009. The previous three Series races at Bedford produced three different winners – Chub Frank (2007), Steve Francis (2008) and Tim Fuller (2009).

Nick Hoffman currently leads the World of Outlaws CASE Late Models standings with a tight 82-point lead over the top five, and an even tighter lead over second-place Brandon Sheppard, who is four points back from the lead. The rest of the top five include Cade Dillard (-50), Chris Madden (-60) and Kyle Bronson (-82).
