COR DiMATTETO “So far I would have to say my favorite track to race is waterford”
(TRT) YOUR STARTING TO BRANCH OUT MORE, WHAT IS TOUR FAVORITE TRACK? WHY?
CORY DiMATTETO “So far I would have to say my favorite track to race is waterford, waterford is a drivers race track and you do not always need the fastest car to do well there. Another thing I love about Waterford is that there are two lanes to race and your ability to move around is second to none”
(TRT) HOW DID YOU FEEL YOU DID AT RICHMONG?
CORY DiMATTETO “Rismnond was a blast to race. It was really intimidating at first but after getting some laps it felt just like any other race track. I was extremely happy with how well we did all things considering. We had very limited practice with motor issues in both practice and qualifying but in the race we were able to come from the back multiple times. Had everything worked out I think we were a top 5 car and that was extremely satisfying, it is not often you can show up to a new track, new series, new car , and new team and run that well”
(TRT)YOUR 2023 PLANS,Series? CARS? TRACKS?
CORY DiMATTETO “In 2023 I plan on running SK modified at both stafford and waterford along with a late model at Waterford and few ACT shows. I also plain on racing the 2 Tri Track Races at waterford and hopefully a few more Whelen tour shows but thats all TBD.

CORY DiMATTETO “I like to think I am a patiently aggressive driver but some might disagree. I am an easy going person who loves to help other people, hard working, and love having fun and joking around.”
(TRT) WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE RACING IN 5 YEARS?
CORY DiMETTETE “ hope to be doing what I’m doing currently, (finding opportunities to drive new and different race cars. It’s always been a goal of mine to drive a new type of car at least once every year.) I also want to be racing SKs still so far it is the most challenging division I have raced to date and to me there is nothing better.
(TRT) AT STAFFORD WHERE DO YOU MAKE A PASS ON SOMONE YOU NEED TO GET BY? SAME QUESTION FOR WATERCFORD. SPEEDBOWL?
CORY DiMETTETO “It easy to say this is place you need to pass someone but usually it comes down to wherever you are better than them on the race track.”
