๐ The biggest story: the Chase
The New Hampshire race was more than just a win โ it was the regular-season finale, meaning the championship field was finalized.
Riggs enters the seven-race Chase as the No. 1 seed, followed by Kaden Honeycutt and Chandler Smith. The final spot came down to a dramatic battle involving Tyler Ankrum and Stewart Friesen. Ankrum’s finish was enough to secure the final championship berth, while Friesen’s strong fourth-place finish wasn’t enough to overcome the points deficit created by his crash at Richmond the previous week.
The 10-driver Chase field is:
Layne Riggs
Kaden Honeycutt
Chandler Smith
Christian Eckes
Gio Ruggiero
Ty Majeski
Grant Enfinger
Daniel Hemric
Ben Rhodes
Tyler Ankrum
๐ฌ Race in a nutshell
Riggs dominated, Zilisch controlled the early stages, and the championship picture went down to the wire. Connor Zilisch won both opening stages, but Riggs ultimately had the truck when it mattered most. After late-race cautions pushed the race into double overtime, Riggs nailed the restarts and held off Smith for a dramatic victory.
