WHAT:
South Boston Speedway is offering media the opportunity to interview some of the top names in the SMART Modified Tour ahead of the inaugural $20,000-to-win Pace-O-Matic King of the Modifieds/URW Community Federal Credit Union Race Day on March 23. Drivers Ryan Newman, Burt Myers and more will be available for interviews and content. During available breaks in practice runs, media will be able to participate in ride-alongs in the SMART Modified Tour two-seater modified.
WHO:
Ryan Newman, Driver of the No. 2 Modified for Renfrow/Coulter Motorsports. Newman is the 2008 DAYTONA 500 Champion and one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers
Burt Myers, Driver of the No. 1 Modified for Burt Myers Racing. Myers is the defending SMART Modified Tour champion.
Other Modified drivers may be available for interviews, as their time allows

Media Sign In will be located at the South Boston Speedway Main Office before being escorted to the infield

In preparation for the $20,000-to-win, Pace-O-Matic King of the Modifieds on URW Community Federal Credit Union Race Day on March 23, teams will be testing their cars.
