Ready For A Brawl: Action Track USA Hosts Short Track Super Series May 26
KUTZTOWN, PA – The last lap in the most recent Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco NJ Quality Drywall Modified South Region event ended with last-lap fireworks between Danny Creeden and Danny Bouc at Pa.’s Bedford Speedway.
Now, the series takes on a brawl Tuesday, May 26.
The tight confines of Action Track USA in Kutztown, Pa., will be the host for the annual ‘Berks County Brawl’ event.
A 50-lap A-Main offers $5,000 to the event winner in addition to a 20-lap B-Main offering $1,000 to win. Thirty-two race teams will leave the Fairgrounds venue with a payout envelope. The event offers full points toward the NJ Quality Drywall South Region 2026 title fight.
Previous Modified appearances at Action Track USA have been nothing short of spectacular.
Last May, Savannah, N.Y.’s Matt Sheppard slipped by Mike Gular on the final turn to steal the victory. Ontario’s Mat Williamson won the 2024 edition, and it was Gular who edged Corey Cormier to top the inaugural event in 2023.
After two NJ Quality Drywall South Region events, Stewart Friesen leads the standings by just two points over Michael Maresca.

STSS NJ Quality Drywall South Region Modified winners to date include Creeden (Bedford Speedway March 29) and Stewart Friesen (N.J.’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park March 22).
Modifieds will be joined on the Action Track USA program by the 600 Sprints.
